Liftgeist is a workout and nutrition tracker made by Luka Jorjoliani. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: your training data is yours, we collect the minimum needed to run the app, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.
We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or browsing history, and the app contains no ads or third-party trackers.
Meal estimates and AI-built programs are generated with Anthropic's Claude models. Your meal note or photo, or your program request, is sent over an encrypted connection to our server (Cloudflare) and passed to Anthropic's API to produce the result. These requests are used only to generate your answer. They are not used to build advertising profiles, and per Anthropic's API terms they are not used to train models.
These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
You can delete your account and all synced data at any time inside the app: You tab → Settings → Delete account. That removes your account and your cloud data permanently. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app. You can also email us (below) and we will delete your data for you.
All traffic between the app, our servers, and our providers uses HTTPS encryption. Cloud data is stored with per-account access controls, so only your signed-in account can read your data.
Liftgeist's numbers, including AI calorie and macro estimates, are for tracking trends. They are estimates, not medical or nutritional advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making health decisions.
Liftgeist is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be called out in the app.
